A recent client asked, “How do we grow our online presence?” We responded, “Close the loop.” It takes time, effort, and consistency. If you do not have the bandwidth to do it, outsource or subcontract the work.
Here’s a good path forward:
Connect all your digital marketing channels (social media, websites, ad campaigns, etc.)
Invest time in developing a campaign and a repository of content (do not try to figure out a new post every day-creativity is the key here)
Create one entry point for multiple exits
Set it and forget it
Monitor your results and adapt to the current environment
Connecting all of your digital channels helps create an ecosystem that generates traction and increases your SEO ratings, thus improving your online presence. Having a repository of your content helps you stay consistent. It enables you to quickly adapt and post content that may not be new but can be highly relevant to ongoing discussions. Creativity isn’t only digital. For a medical client, we created a video for their waiting area pointing to a physical drop box where clients could drop questions. The answers to those questions become content that was specifically requested by your clients.
It is a good practice to have a platform where you can create content and share it on all your social media and other digital platforms. Choose a platform that allows you to post content automatically, then set it and forget it. Finally, analyze your results and adapt to make your efforts more effective.
